One of the most common chronic diseases today is diabetes. We all know several people living with this condition, but are dependent on pharmaceutical drugs to keep it “under control." However, what most people don't know, including most doctors, is that type 2 diabetes can be reversed and often cured for most people. According to the medical industry, diabetes is not curable, but they at least now admit that it can go into “remission.” Regardless of semantics, with the right lifestyle changes, the signs and symptoms of diabetes can be resolved. In the 2009 documentary, “Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 days,” Dr Gabriel Cousens shows how this is done successfully on 6 of his clients, even after struggling with this disease for years.
Diabetes is so common today that the disease has, in fact, become a fast-growing multi-billion-dollar industry. For the average general medical practice, diabetes patients are a steady source of income and most doctors are not trained to reverse this condition. According to Medical News Today, “Medications alone do not reverse it. If a person does not make healthy lifestyle changes, type 2 diabetes will progress, and they will eventually need more medications to manage it.” The side effects of the drugs used to manage the disease are also extensive, and often get erroneously blamed on the disease. One common diabetes drug was even found to contain a cancer-causing chemical. Some pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines can also cause diabetes. In fact, I remember during my university biology studies, we did a lab experiment where we induced diabetes in rats with a single injection.
Fortunately, there are more and more health care professionals that can help people to prevent and reverse this damaging disease. Also, remember that chiropractic care can even help with glucose metabolism, as nervous system dysfunction plays a strong role with most diseases.
