3 Simple Ways to Reduce Laptop EMF Radiation & Prolong Your Career
Many of our clients now are spending their entire days working at a laptop computer. Unfortunately, this creates a potential occupational hazard that few people are aware of. Most people when using a laptop are connected to the internet via WiFi. Many people are also using their laptop while it’s connected to the electricity, instead of using the battery power. This creates a double direct exposure to both microwave frequencies (2.4 or 5.12 Ghz) and extremely low frequency (ELF) electromagnetic fields (50-60 Hz).
The health effects are well-documented in the scientific literature, especially from the independent researchers. A 2021 systematic review concluded the following:
“Significant biological effects of EMF exposure were reported on human health ranging from anxiety, depression, sleep disturbance, increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease and ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), hypersensitivity to infertility and increased risk of multiple carcinomas. Application of preventive measures in order to minimize the exposure becomes the need of the hour especially so in occupational settings.”
Fortunately, there are simple ways to reduce the direct overexposure to this radiation, which can improve your productivity and likely prolong your career:
Use the battery power whenever possible and charge the device when you’re not using it.
Connect to the internet with a wired ethernet cable. Many laptops no longer have an ethernet connection, but this can be resolved by using an ethernet to USB adapter.
If a wired connection is not possible or impractical, you can also connect to WiFi using a dual band adapter (seen in image below) connected to a USB extension cable that’s at least 2 meters long. This allows you to connect to the internet while your laptop is on Airplane Mode, but using a WiFi receiver that’s farther away, so the transmitted microwave frequencies are no longer directly next to you. (See Video explanation)

I’ve seen distinct spinal subluxation patterns in our clients that use laptops for more than 4 hours a day, which is likely a direct result of the overexposure to this seemingly harmless EMF stressor. These simple steps can help to reduce this stress on the brain and nervous system, as well as the heart. This will also help you to hold your chiropractic adjustments more effectively, allowing your whole body to heal and adapt more effectively, so you can enjoy your work and life even more.
