The Nervous System-Cancer Connection
Did you know that your Nervous System also plays a strong role in the development and elimination of cancer cells?
According to a ground-breaking review from 2020:
“…increasing evidence suggests that the nerves can provide active inputs to tumors and there is two-way communication between nerves and cancer cells within the tumor microenvironment. Cells of the immune system also interact with the nerves and cancer cells. Thus, the nerve connections can exert significant control over cancer progression and modulating these (physically or chemically) can affect significantly the cancer process.”
As another researcher stated, “This empirical evidence unequivocally points in the direction of an essential role of the nervous system in cancer initiation and progression.”
Many studies have confirmed this connection and also explains why stress and emotional trauma can play a strong role with cancer. It’s easy to see why protecting and optimizing the function of your Nervous System can also help you to control and eliminate cancer cells.
