Discover the Natural Benefits of BrainTap
Learn about our new service that can also help your brain to function better.
While attending a conference over 12 years ago, I heard a lecture by a neuroscientist named Dr. Patrick Porter, where he described how the function of the brain can be improved in a very natural and non-invasive way. At the time, the equipment he had was cumbersome and unrefined, but his ideas made a lot of sense.
In 2022, while attending another conference in the U.S., a colleague recommended a modality called BrainTap. When I heard Dr. Porter’s voice again, I quickly realized that I was exposed to his information before, but he has now neatly packaged his system, allowing it to be conveyed to you in a simple and effective way. He has also published studies verifying the benefits in people from all walks of life, including professionals, athletes, and students. (See links to studies at the end of this article.)
We are very excited and privileged to announce the introduction of BrainTap in our office to maximize your results, as it also improves the function of the nervous system. While chiropractic is designed to improve and fine-tune the connection between the mind and body, BrainTap targets the function of the mind specifically. It’s easy to see how neurologically-based chiropractic care and BrainTap can harmoniously complement each other.
So what exactly is BrainTap? This technology simply combines guided visualization, light therapy, and sound therapy to effectively improve brain function, based on decades of proven science. A single 15-30 minute session has been shown to have the following effects:
38.5% Improvement on the stress index scale
27.3% Improvement on overall neurological markers
Increased heart rate variability (This shows that the nervous system is better able to adapt to the ups and downs of life.)
With more regular sessions, some of the long-term benefits include:
Increased heart rate variability
Improved quality of sleep (sleep efficiency)
Increased parasympathetic activity
Decreased stress, worry, and irritability
Improved brain health (episodic memory)
All of this will make even more sense once you experience the Introductory Session (see costs below), which not only explains how BrainTap works, but will already begin to help you think, sleep, and perform better.
